And a disclaimer

An important note
Nongrowthsociety is a a posture, a teenagers rebellion against the current economic norm of more and more. It is a response to that we as a society have a serious problem at hand. The problem is that our socioeconomic system is based on growth and has made it a goal to grow endlessly.
Certainly growth can have ecologically good connotations, like the growth of crop, but as anything growing exponentially in a finite space will eventually hit the limits so too will our socioeconomic system. Growth is therefore nothing that should be the foundation of a society.
The Blueprint is drawn upon brilliant ideas from the past and present that we humans can try. And we have to try because as Thatcher and Reagan said in the 80s about the now planet and people destroying economy: There Is No Alternative (TINA). Now There Is No Alterantive To Try Something Different! (TINATTSD).
Let us build on the collective power of these creative and other creative minds that don’t mind that when the going gets tough the tough gets going!
This initiative is in no way an expert in complex system but an interested learner; and we like to learn.
We embrace uncertainty in what we learn and do and we try to be humble about our ignorance and realize that putting our knowledge into practice might not be enough considering that even though the the ultimate fate of the universe is undecided. As Georgescu-Roegen points out
"our immediate environment, the solar system, tends toward a thermodynamic death, at least as far as life-bearing structures are concerned"
NICHOLAS GEORGESCU ROEGEN, ENERGY AND ECONOMIC MYTHS, p 352
But considering all, the least we can do is try!
