Share Ricardian land
The issue of enclosure of land has been contentious for a long time since its unfair practice shut out a lot of people from the wealth of what earlier was the commons.
We can try to reverse this trend and have all get a piece of land. If the impractically of Potlach or physically sharing land overwhelms us we can always use Henry George taxes for the distribution of what Fay Lewis sign already showed in 1914 were unjust desert that comes with owning land. Unjust in that the deserts to an owner of land often comes by chance and they are more dependent on what fellow humans and society and less on individual effort.
Space is of course required for our fellow inhabitants and the ecosystems we depend on, but as a thought experiment we can 104 million km2 of habitable land with 7,7 billions person translates in to 0,0135 km2 or 1 ha 3500 m2 or 13500 m2 and if we distribute arable land our fair operating space will be about half of this.
