Use renewable energy
Energy is quite important. It has, since the birth our species, been a matter of life and death for us and our civilizations.
Our ability to harness energy is, maybe more evident now than we can cognitively handle, an critical existential factor that have and will decide whether or not we can succeed to live in a somewhat steady-state way of life. We humans being dissipative structures have now reached the limit of what our ecosystem sinks can manage in form of CO2 waste and we need to take those stinking non-renewables paws of us.
Solar, wind, water and other renewables all carry their own limits but they are, being more synced with systems of our nature and its cycles, the only forms of the low entropy energy flows that can pass through our biological systems and our socioeconomic system if we want to flourish within limits.
